Peanut Sleeping

So I think I have figured out why Peanut will not sleep in her own bed all night. I caught her sleeping like this during the night and had to get a picture of this. Hopefully we can figure out a way to get her to sleep like a normal child. Any ideas?

My almost 3 year old sleeps crazy too, I don’t know how she does it.

You could try turning the bed. I don’t know if it would help, but it’s worth a try.

Looks like you have too much bedding on her; my son tosses and turns when he gets too hot under a quilt cover. Try putting just a sheet over her and dont tuck it in too tightly. Notice how she has uncovered herself? I myself cannot sleep with my legs covered by covers. Go lighter on the bedding and she may sleep better and more comfortably. Even in the cold weather my son kicks the quilt off…

What a wonderful photo! I think she is completely normal. The child that isn’t normal is the one that doesn’t toss and turn everywhere.

    Mine is up…come on over!

She’s just fine! All children rustle around in their beds. I agree though about letting up on the bedding. My Peanut won’t ever have her feet covered up (like her Dad) so she may be getting overheated and pushing the covers off.

My kids sleep like that sometimes, too - more often my daughter. I can’t say much about it as I’ve been known to sleep in odd positions as well.

She _is_ sleeping like a child.

Be glad you found her on the bed. We used to find ours we had three) under beds, in the livingroom, in a pile of clean rags in my shop, on the top shelf of her closet….
