Thankful for Thanksgiving.

For the past three years my wife and I have held thanksgiving at our house for her mom, and great aunts. Last year this included my wife’s brother. The first year my brother came as well. I have done all the cooking, but this year I skipped a little and got lazy. I cooked turkey, green bean casserole, normally I would have made mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole, but this year I decided to be lazy and bought something I saw at Walmart, there is now such a thing as instant sweet potatoes, and I also picked up some instant mashed potatoes, and as usual stuffing. I forgot to fix the usual relish dish, oh well. I just for some reason did not feel like cooking..
I am thankful for my family and my friends, and the time that we get to spend together. I am thankful for my health and wish others the best health possible. I am thankful for the knowledge I have gained and will continue to gain throughout my life. I’m thankful for the memories I have and will continue to gain. I am thankful for each and every new day. I’m thankful for heavenly father and Christ’s atoning sacrifice to ensure that our families can be together forever. One of my favorite hymns from church is 300: Families Can Be Together Forever
