Truthout
By Eaglehawk | September 26, 2007
I read an article that was written by Ken Magill, More on Truthout and how they were complaining that they were being blocked by AOL and Hotmail. They thought by getting their subscribes to complain to those two isp’s they would get their way. I can tell you from personal experience from when I worked at an ISP, if a mailing list or church or something like that would tell their subscribers to flood us with complaints it would cause me to refuse to unblock them. If nothing else it would cause me to delay the removal of the block just because they would not work with us the proper way. So in other words, having your subscriber base flood an isp won’t do you a lick of good in most cases.
